The TOR-D model is a lightweight version of the TOR ballistic helmet, featuring special side cuts for easy use with active headphones and radio headsets.
Purpose: The helmet is designed to protect airborne and special forces personnel from various injuries and wounds, as well as to accommodate special equipment. It provides head protection from falls, impacts, blast waves, small fragments, ricochets, and light firearms.
Protection Standards:
- 1st class of protection according to DSTU 8835:2019;
- protection level IIIA, NIJ 0106.01 standard;
- protection against fragments (FSP = 1.102 g) according to NATO STANAG 2920 at a level >670 m/s (V50 indicator).
Additional Features: The aramid fabric of the helmet dome ensures long-term use under all climatic conditions, including exposure to precipitation. The outer surface of the dome is coated with water- and fire-resistant layers, as well as an anti-glare coating to reduce reflections. The suspension and cushioning systems provide passive ventilation for the head. The helmet is compatible with protective masks, glasses, night vision devices, active headphones, various radio systems, gas masks, and respirators.
The helmet size can be easily adjusted through the suspension system and internal damping pads.
